Armored thermal resistance has the advantages of flexible, accurate, quick thermal response time, stable quality and long service life.

The production of armored thermal resistance, first of all, the thermal resistance lead (generally pure nickel wire) into magnesium oxide insulation material, and then together into the stainless steel protection tube, through repeated drawing and reducing annealing and forming armored thermal resistance lead (equivalent to armored thermocouple material); Then the thermal resistance temperature sensing element is butt welded with the sheathed thermal resistance lead wire which has been blanked into the required length and stripped out of the lead head; The measuring end, wiring end and device are then manufactured in a similar way to the armoured thermocouple. Because of the high resistivity of armored thermal resistance leads, there is no two wire leads, generally three wire leads, four wire leads need to be specially noted. Because of the low temperature measurement of armoured copper resistance, organic material insulation can be used to replace inorganic magnesium oxide insulation, and the manufacturing process can be different from armoured platinum resistance.

Armored thermal resistance can be used to measure temperature in the range of -200~500℃, with thermal resistance lead and secondary instrument connected to use. Because it has good electrical output characteristics, it can provide accurate temperature change signal for display instrument, recorder, regulator, scanner, data recorder and computer.
